Dr. Tauno Vähä-Heikkilä received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Lic. Tech. degrees in physics from the University of Turku, Finland, in 2000, 2001, and 2005, and Dr. Tech. degree in electrical engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), Espoo, Finland, in 2006, respectively. He has worked as a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Millimetre Wave Laboratory of Finland - MilliLab since 2000. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2002 and 2003. His research interests include development of MEMS components and circuits for RF, microwave, and millimetre wave frequencies for telecommunication, measurement, space, and defense applications. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 scientific papers.
