1981, 1984 two ( 4 + 3 months) postdoc stays at Uppsala University, Sweden
1987- Professor at Department of Microelectronics FEI STU
1994- Head of the Department of Microelectronics FEI STU

2000- 2002 Chairman of the Scientific Grant Agency of Slovak Ministry of Education

1. Microelectronics, nanotechnology, physics, technology and characterization of semiconductor materials, structures and devices supported by process and device modelling and simulation

- invited lectures at UMIST Manchester, UK, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, Uppsala University and Chalmers University in Goteborg, Sweden, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan          
- international collaboration - TU Munich, ETH Zurich, City University of Hong Kong, IMEC Leuven, Belgium, CVUT Prague, TU Brno
- frequent collaboration with the industrial partners (Motorola, ON Semiconductor, Infineon, Semikron and others)
