1980- PhD at FEI STU Bratislava in Microelectronics, particularly in physics, technology and characterization of semiconductor structures and devices
1981- Assistant Professor at Department of Microelectronics FEI STU
1981, 1984 two ( 4 + 3 months) postdoc stays at Uppsala University, Sweden
1987- Professor at Department of Microelectronics FEI STU
1994- Head of the Department of Microelectronics FEI STU

2000- 2002 Chairman of the Scientific Grant Agency of Slovak Ministry of Education
2000- 2004 Referee of the projects submitted within 5th and 6th FP of European Union

- Microelectronics, nanotechnology, physics, technology and characterization of semiconductor materials, structures and devices supported by process and device modelling and simulation
